A distinctive vintage Chinese water jar crafted from clay, dating to the first half of the 20th century. The rounded body rises into a narrow neck with a flared rim, while a curved handle and short pouring spout give the vessel its wonderfully sculptural, utilitarian form. Its softly weathered surface retains muted shades of terracotta, rose, cream, and earthy beige, with natural variations and areas of wear that reflect generations of use.

Originally made as a functional vessel for carrying and pouring water, this jar makes a beautiful decorative object today. Its compact scale is ideal for a console, cabinet, bookshelf, or side table, either displayed alone or grouped with other antique and vintage pottery. The primitive form and softly faded surface bring warmth, texture, and character to Santa Fe, farmhouse, boho chic, mountain modern, or contemporary interiors.

This item will arrive Santa Fe in mid-October '26.
