A majority of the antique pieces we offer began life in an agrarian setting or in middle-class urban homes. We have always been partial to simpler forms, either in bleached natural wood or original paint. One of our favorite items that we try to keep a large stock is the Chinese cabinet which began life as a “rice” storage cabinet, that originally opened from the top. The tops are now fixed and the front panels cut out to become the doors, in order to make these beautiful pieces functional. These cabinets are our best selling antique item.
