There is an abundance of reclaimed timbers in both China and India. Most of it derives from the dismantling of old buildings and home structures that are not worthy of restoration. Our bleached elm and pine pieces are often simple yet sophisticated designs. It is common for us to offer all types of tables with very thick tops. These bleached pieces fit seamlessly into a farmhouse-style interior.
The same abundance exists in India with their use of recycled teakwood. These pieces often feature the shutter door design, and there are many other pieces made that are more “Westernized” for the US and European markets.
