A distinctive antique Chinese hall table from Shanxi Province, crafted from solid pinewood and dating to the late Qing dynasty. The table features an intricately carved upper panel with scrolling floral motifs above two drawers, each embellished with carved and painted decoration. Traces of old red, cream, and muted pigment remain within the carvings, creating a beautifully layered surface against the naturally aged pine. Traditional metal hardware and generations of wear add to its authentic character and patina.

Its compact proportions make this table especially versatile for an entryway, hallway, living room, or beside a sofa. The carved facade gives the piece a decorative presence without overwhelming its simple architectural form, while the two drawers provide useful storage. The combination of folk carving, remnants of old color, and weathered pine works beautifully in Santa Fe, boho chic, farmhouse, mountain modern, or eclectic interiors.

This item will arrive Santa Fe in mid-October '26.
