Antique Indian Painted Cabinet, with a scalloped top gallery and pierced lower apron, and a scalloped interior shelf front. The cabinet, as well as its old paint is pure and it's getting difficult to find these charming, untouched-over-time pieces.

From the 1st half of the 20th century, it was originally a food storage cabinet and there would have been mesh where the glass is now, for ventilation. The metal sides, back, and top helped keep it cool inside and the food fresher.
