This outstanding door from Gujarat, c. 1880-1900, of 16 small panels per side, has beautiful carved moldings around each panel, each four connecting with an iron cross, with carved lotus flowers where the iron stops. This was a darker teak door when we found it, and has been carefully bleached to highlight its sculptural carvings and lighten the tone for modern interiors. Historic craftsmanship with a fresh, contemporary feel. One beautiful door, it would also make a special king size headboard!
Because these are antique architectural elements, installation requirements may vary depending on the intended use. We recommend consulting with a qualified builder, contractor, or architect to determine the best method for installation and appropriate hardware.
