A wonderfully rustic vintage Chinese stool crafted from solid pine, dating to the first half of the 20th century. The narrow rectangular seat rests on slightly splayed legs joined by traditional stretchers, reflecting the simple, practical construction of Chinese country furniture. Generations of use have given the pine a warm, naturally weathered surface with visible grain, worn edges, traces of old finish, and subtle variations in color that give each stool its individual character.
