A distinctive vintage Chinese cabinet crafted from solid pine, dating to the first half of the 20th century. The cabinet has been repainted to a beautifully aged blue-green painted finish, worn naturally over time to reveal layers of wood and earlier surface beneath, and now lacquered. Three upper drawers sit above four paneled doors, all fitted with simple traditional iron ring pulls. The clean architectural form allows the wonderfully distressed painted surface to become the defining feature of the piece.
With a combination of drawers and enclosed cabinet space, this piece offers generous and practical storage. Its long top provides ample room for lamps, pottery, artwork, or collected objects, while the shallow depth makes it especially versatile as a dining room buffet, entry cabinet, or living room sideboard.
