A wonderfully rustic vintage Chinese stool crafted from solid elmwood, dating to the first half of the 20th century. The round seat rests on four slightly splayed legs joined by traditional stretchers, reflecting the straightforward, functional construction of Chinese country furniture. Generations of use have given the elm a rich, naturally weathered surface with visible grain, worn edges, old markings, and warm variations in color that give each stool its own individual character.

These stools are wonderfully versatile and can be used as occasional seating, small side tables, plant stands, or decorative accents. They are especially appealing displayed in a collection, where their variations in wood tone and patina emphasize their handmade character. Their simple form and beautifully aged elm work naturally in Santa Fe, wabi-sabi, farmhouse, boho chic, mountain modern, or contemporary interiors.

This item will arrive Santa Fe in mid-October '26.
