Vintage Rustic Elm Bench, 42x8x20H

A distinctive vintage Chinese bench crafted from solid elmwood, dating to the first half of the 20th century. The narrow plank seat is supported by splayed trestle-style legs joined with stretchers, while shaped brackets beneath the seat add subtle architectural detail. Generations of use have softened the elm to a pale, naturally weathered finish with visible grain, worn edges, old markings, and an authentic aged patina.

Its compact size and narrow profile make this bench especially versatile for an entryway or hallway, beneath a window, beside a bed, or as a decorative accent for displaying pottery and collected objects. The simple construction and beautifully aged elm work naturally in Santa Fe, wabi-sabi, farmhouse, mountain modern, boho chic, or contemporary interiors.

This item will arrive Santa Fe in mid-October '26.
