Vintage Moroccan Azilal Tribal Rug from Morocco, with unusual pistachio green and bright periwinkle coloring. Made in the 3rd quarter of the 20th century and named after the province of Morocco from where they are found, Azilal rugs are a beautiful and unique type of Berber rug made by hand from cotton and sheep's wool. Each Azilal rug is created by Berber tribes' women who pass down their techniques from one generation to the next.
