This Antique Indian Stone Aala on Iron Stand is a remarkable architectural fragment that once served as a sacred wall niche, or aala, in a traditional Indian home or temple. Hand-carved from solid stone, the piece features an arched recessed alcove framed by miniature columns, geometric borders, and floral motifs.

Traditionally, stone aalas were built into walls to hold oil lamps (diyas) or devotional offerings, creating a focal point for prayer and daily rituals. Mounted on a custom iron stand, this antique fragment has been transformed into a sculptural decorative object while preserving its historic character.
