A refined antique Chinese Altar/console table crafted from solid pine, dating to the late Qing dynasty. The long, narrow top is supported by distinctive open-frame legs, creating a clean and architectural silhouette. Delicately carved openwork brackets beneath each corner feature traditional scrolling motifs, adding an elegant decorative element without overwhelming the table’s restrained form. Generations of use have given the pine a warm, naturally weathered surface with visible grain, worn edges, and a beautiful aged patina.
Its long, shallow proportions make this console especially well suited for an entryway, hallway, or behind a sofa. The open base gives the table a light visual presence, while the carved corner details provide just enough ornament to make it stand out. Its combination of simple geometry, traditional carving, and aged pine works beautifully in Santa Fe, wabi-sabi, mountain modern, boho chic, minimalist, or contemporary interiors.
This item will arrive Santa Fe in mid-October '26.
