A striking antique Chinese cabinet crafted from solid pinewood, dating to the late Qing dynasty. The cabinet retains a rich red painted finish, beautifully worn over generations to reveal darker undertones and areas of natural wood beneath. Two large paneled doors are fitted with simple traditional brass ring pulls, while the substantial frame and short legs give the piece a strong, grounded presence. Layers of faded pigment, surface wear, and exposed wood create a wonderfully authentic patina.
Its low, long proportions make this cabinet especially versatile as a small sideboard, entry cabinet, media cabinet, or storage piece beneath artwork. The deep, time-worn red adds warmth and character without overwhelming a room and pairs beautifully with both antique and contemporary furnishings in Santa Fe, wabi-sabi, boho chic, mountain modern, rustic, or eclectic interiors.
This item will arrive Santa Fe in mid-October '26.
