This elegant hall table (circa 1900–1930) showcases the clean, restrained lines of classic Chinese elm furniture. The plank top with a molded edge sits above a simple apron, supported by four straight, square-cut legs joined by a horizontal stretcher for added stability. The mortise-and-tenon joinery is fully exposed at the corners, reflecting traditional construction methods.
The wood carries a natural, bleached patina, with soft graining and light surface wear that speak to its age and honest use. Its narrow depth and understated form make it ideal as an entry console, sofa table, or display surface in a foyer or hallway.
This item will arrive Santa Fe in mid-October '26.
