A beautifully proportioned antique Chinese cabinet crafted from solid elmwood, dating to the late Qing dynasty. The long case features four upper drawers above four paneled doors, all fitted with traditional metal ring pulls. Subtle molding around the doors and drawers adds architectural depth to the otherwise restrained design. Generations of use have softened the elm to a warm, naturally weathered finish with visible grain, worn edges, and an authentic aged patina.
The combination of drawers and enclosed cabinet space provides generous storage, while the long top offers ample room for lamps, pottery, artwork, or collected objects. Its shallow depth makes it particularly versatile as a dining room buffet or sideboard, an entry cabinet, or storage in a living room. The understated form and beautifully aged elm work naturally in Santa Fe, wabi-sabi, farmhouse, mountain modern, boho chic, or contemporary interiors.
This item will arrive in Santa Fe in mid-October '26.
