Antique Chinese Carved Pine Cabinet, 34Hx94.5×17.5

Antique Chinese Carved Pine Cabinet/Coffer, the frame and door fronts profusely carved with geometric  motifs, from Xinjiang Province, the province which borders Central Asia and whose designs are more influenced by Central Asia than China. From the late Qing Dynasty, c. 1880-1920. Originally painted, it has now been repainted and lacquered in a beautiful teal color and makes a bold design statement.
