Vintage Indian Painted Teakwood Mesh Door Food Cabinet, C. 1900-40, in outstanding original condition. The mesh was to allow air to pass through to help keep food fresher. Most food cupboards over the last 10 years have had their mesh (often broken) changed into glass, because these pieces also make suberp small bookcases.
