Our rug partners in Turkey take vintage rugs, often multi-colored and do a dyeing process we call "over dye". After the coloring and drying process, the only colors/patterns you can see are those originally darker than the dye color. This process allows us to introduce some bold and unique colors that did not originally exist in these vintage rugs.
